Shuntavi Jane blossoms

This week Shuntavi spent a day with her aunt Nicole in Manchester while her Mama and Papa worked. This was a much anticipated moment and she was very happy throughout the day. Her aunt Jen brought her home and we all breathed a sigh of relief.

Shuntavi's secret you ask--she found her hands and learned how to stuff them in her mouth.

While she was blooming into a slightly more self reliant young woman, her Jane Magnolia tree began to blossom as well--the tree was planted by her family at her birth.

This weekend she joined her mother at the Harvard May fest and spent the day working the "Cambridge Recycles" table, teaching Cambridge residents how to protect the environment. It is tiring work trying to save the planet, especially when you are so young.

Shuntavi chills with her cousins

Shuntavi travelled all over New England these last 2 weeks visiting friends and family with her mama. Her mama is getting ready to return to work so its a good thing she has so many people in her life who love her, especially her big cousins.

She also spent some time playing with developmental toys--she can shake a rattle now!

Shuntavi sleeps, kind of

Thursday 3hrs, Friday 4hr, Saturday 6hrs... (how sweet it is)

..back to 3hrs on Sunday (wait a minute, I got used to that!)

We did actually get 6 hrs of sleep on Saturday night and we are feeling great.

Here's a picture with her Aunt Sara that should have made it in 2 weeks ago, but needs to be in the blog.

Finally, here is the most up-to-date picture of our girl as she grows.

Shuntavi goes to the beach

Shuntavi has enjoyed not having to wear much clothes down here in Florida. For the first time in her life she was able to be outside without being hidden inside a parent's jacket.

Check out these beach pictures.

Shuntavi hikes

On the morning of March 20th in white out conditions, Shuntavi Jane and her parents set out to summit Mt Willard in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She was bold and brave in her daddy's jacket, purring away as we ascended to through the forest. The safety of the trees made the hike safe and after 30 minutes visibility returned and the sun came out. Great views of Crawford Notch were had by all. Well kind of, Shuntavi decided to fall asleep at the top, perhaps the sun was too bright.

That steep rock face is Mt Willard, but we hiked up the back side so don't worry she didn't need a ice-axe or anything.
